Under general supervision performs a variety of baking duties and assists with the preparation of entrements, macarons, chocolates, cookies, cakes, gelato, and other pastries.
Essential Functions

1. Reports ordering needs to designated department lead or Executive Pastry Chef.
2. Assists in monthly inventory count.
3. Ensures top product quality on a daily basis.
4. Completes daily production lists.
5. Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils and equipment.
6. Completion of any of the following assigned duties: cakes, cupcakes, buttercreams, breakfast pastries, cookies, caramels, entrements, mousses, glazes, marshmallows, candied pecans, macaron batter, ganaches, chocolate covered macaron shells, filling macarons, packing macarons, sifting macaron flour, measuring egg whites, measuring sugar, fillings, filling & coining of chocolate covered macarons, molded chocolates, slabbed chocolates, garnishes, chocolate enrobing, chocolate bark, chocolate bars, drinking chocolate, flavoring gelato base, spinning gelato base, pasteurizing gelato base.
7. Operates and maintains cleanliness of ovens, stoves, enrobing machine, condenser machine, macaron machine, and gelato machine in a safe manner.
8. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
